Case History: Whole Heart Debate Club

Now we are meeting weekly just to brainstorm the larger issues, share evidence, and increase our general knowledge of the immigration subject so the kids will feel better prepared when it's their turn to be a Negative Team. We are also practicing taking notes on a flowsheet in a format that was shared with us by a family at the February Round Robin.

On the whole I'd say our first dive into the official world of debate has been somewhat overwhelming, but also surprisingly satisfying as the kids have discovered new skills and gained this valuable experience. They are definitely "hooked" and will be looking forward to future debates.
